How it works

When you sign up, you will be asked for a name for your emails. Could be your firstname, your surname, your combined name or even your house name.

For example, let's assume your name is johndoe. You will be able to use the entire domain johndoe.quitspam.com for your emails.

Whenever somebody asks for your email, you can just make up one using your domain. For example, you sign up online with a company called acme for some jet powered roller skates. On the website, they request an email address, you could enter acme@johndoe.quitspam.com

When they send you a confirmation email, it will automatically be forwarded to you.

Let's say, acme send you emails every day and it's getting annoying, or worse still, your email address ends up with a spammer and you get lots of unrelated email. Simply login, enter the address and select 'Delete'. All emails to that account will now be deleted

If you upgrade to a premium (paid) account you will also get another email account which will have spam protection, virus protection, sender confirmation protection and much more.

You will also be able to hide your real email address from people by sending your emails to quitspam.com which will reroute them on, hiding your email address. When you receive emails from people, usually selecting reply on most email applications will send them through quitspam.com again.
